Welcome to My Secret Garden
Fresh, homemade salsa. Grilled Zucchini. Pickled Cucumbers. Garden Tomato slices, followed by a glass of homemade grape juice. My mouth is now salivating. YUM!!! Those are all my favorite flavors of July and August.
I am so thrilled to see how my new garden boxes in my "Secret Garden" on the side of my house are doing. Want a sure way to acquire a green thumb? Garden boxes make growing delicious veggies easy. Almost too easy.
With 5 kids and a packed schedule, I need a way to enjoy fresh produce without the hours spent weeding and tending a garden. This is how it's done.
1. Build boxes to your liking. There are lots of different ways to do this. You can use different materials from vinyl fencing to wood. You choose.
2. Buy already mixed plantar box soil and dump it in the boxes. Add fertilizer with your veggie plants.
3. Add water and allow sun.
4. HARVEST when hungry!
