Do you floral?
Every week I am in some amazing homes! I still pinch myself that the profession I have chosen allows me to take clients through homes and I get to see how people really live. At PRIME, as Realtors, we are always trying to pass on the Selling Features in homes that can help any of you out there looking to sell this year.
While I am out touring homes with clients, I am consistently amazed at the talent of some of the families homes I get to see. I also get to ask my clients what they love about the houses and see what other things they don't like quite as much. Everyone has an opinion right? Some are more "RIGHT" than others though for sure.
Today I want to share with you a trend that I think ads a splash of ELEGANT into any home. And it works! My buyers are loving it. I've heard my clients say "I love this" specific trend more than once.
It is Floral Patterns. When we think of decorating with floral patterns it might seem a little overwhelming. Some feel it is outdated and tired. With some of the new floral patterns, others think that it is only a trend for girls or that it is simply put, "just not for me." Well I am here to tell you that it could be! I have some simple guidelines and ideas for you to incorporate this blossoming trend into your home.
1. Florals can be splashed in anywhere! Once piece here and there. A bedspread, a pillow cover, or even wallpaper!
2. Florals can make any room feel fresh and updated. They can also bring beauty and warmth to a room.
3. Big bold patterns can make a room instantly feel artsy and modern. It can add a bit of personality.
4. You can pull colors from any floral pattern. This is a good way to change your color palate in a room.
5. Floral patterns mix well with other trends.
Floral is everywhere right now! Whether it is a dress and shirt or even your lamps and chairs. Using a floral pattern can be subtle or a bold move that gives your home a very custom feel and will be completely on trend. Give it a try! Add some color into your life by adding some floral patterns in your home.
What do you feel right now in your home? Is it tired and dated? Have you been hit over the head repeatedly with the BROWN ZONE?
I'd love to come by your home and steer you in the right direction! Are you thinking about selling this year? Let's spend some time together and really make your place fun and get you ready!
When I am out with buyers, they usually want to FEEL something that tells them this is the right house. Most of the time, buyers respond with "this just feels right." Adding these small touches and staging your home to sell will help buyers get over the hump. Let's make your place feel right!
