Thinking of Selling? Here's why 2017 is the Year to Sell
Happy Love Month!
I am so so happy that January has come and gone! February just seems like a fresh start all around. There are a few warmer days, and it is a shorter month,which gets us closer to spring, flowers and sunshine! My favorite thing about February is that it’s the month of LOVE, I love Valentines day!

While I'm on the topic of LOVE, Now is the time to be in LOVE with UTAH!
Homes in Utah are doing so well. Which means my job is getting busier and busier.
The first week of February has been a whirl-wind for me. The real estate market is definitely in full swing. The homes for sale in our state of Utah is down 22% from last year which is crazy to think about since I thought last year was a bit tough to get buyers into homes.
There are simply not enough homes for sale to support all the buyers out there.
So what does this mean for you?
If you are thinking of listing your home, NOW is the time!
Here are a couple of things to think about for the rest of 2017 year:
1. Increasing Rent- rent prices are on the rise so it is pushing long time renters to purchase a home. When the cost of a mortgage is less than rent it is a no brainer! We would love to have you talk with one of our lenders and see what they can do for you.
2. Utah’s Strong Market- Utah was cited by fortune as one of the top 2 places in the country where millennial’s are taking root and buying homes. With Utah’s strong overall economy, Utah is continually one of the fastest most desired places to live!

3. Interest Rates- With all the uncertainty of the recent election the fear of the unknown can definitely effect interest rates. They are not going to skyrocket over night but they will gradually go up a bit by the end of the year.
It doesn’t matter if you are buying or selling a home this year, 2017 looks to be a strong year!
